Underwood Lofts

Fayetteville, Arkansas

Underwood Lofts occupies a high-profile spot on Dickson Street, the hub of the Fayetteville dining, entertainment and retail scene – a quick walk from the University of Arkansas campus and its thousands of resident students. Advanced was chosen to design and install the integrated security systems that will protect all who will work and live there. Features of the solution are a Lenel access control system, including elevator controls to provide access only to certain floors; a closed-circuit TV security system with more than 20 cameras to provide comprehensive visual coverage of all entrances, exits, hallways and other areas; and a video intercom system that provides visitor management capabilities for all residents.

The nine-story, mixed-use building will include approximately 89,760 square feet of residential and commercial space. The project will contain luxury loft condominiums for those interested in downtown living and upscale commercial spaces for businesses, retailers and restaurateurs. The building design by local architect Robert Sharp is loft-inspired, paying tribute to New Orleans with plenty of outdoor terraces and providing top-floor residents with a 360-degree vista of Fayetteville. In addition, the building will feature a five-story, concealed garage with 303 parking spaces for residents, tenants and patrons.

"Moving to our new facility meant an entirely new IT infrastructure. We were looking for cutting-edge technology that could seamlessly integrate into our existing servers while also allowing for expansion. Advanced provided the complete solution, from concept and design to coordination and installation. They treated each piece of our project as if it were their own facility."
