Professional Education Center (PEC) GED
Camp Robinson’s Army National Guard 90,500 SF GED Training Complex will be home to classrooms, administrative areas, kitchen & dining area, living facilities, and support facilities. CDI is the general contractor and Arnold Blevins is the electrical contractor. Advanced will provide the latest technology with a Focal Point Gateway which is a powerful interface that provides the capacity to monitor multiple networks installed in remote locations. In addition, the gateway is connected to the FocalPoint Graphic Workstation already installed at Independence Hall. Independence Hall is also getting a new Gamewell-FCI emergency voice evacuation system and will serve as the command center for the PEC campus system. The tentative completion date for this building is March 2010.
"Moving to our new facility meant an entirely new IT infrastructure. We were looking for cutting-edge technology that could seamlessly integrate into our existing servers while also allowing for expansion. Advanced provided the complete solution, from concept and design to coordination and installation. They treated each piece of our project as if it were their own facility."
